Garbage Disposal

I will take posts 110% more seriously if they contain dumb mspaint drawings of the idea

Garbage Disposal

Postby Coldox » 20 Sep 2014, 1:06 am

Just leaving the suggestion of a Garbage Disposal.
Something on the back of the Restaurant that would "destroy" the objects that we throw in it OR a garbage truck showing up every 5 minutes to get rid of the trash.
When I play for 1 hour I start lagging and the game gets slow because all the opened boxes that are laying down on the floor in the back and then I can't keep going because the game gets so slow :b
The Garbage Disposal would help a lot and present future slowing and lagging in the servers ^^

I agree, I you could put it on the delivery truck but when a delivery truck comes I'm more concerned about getting my boxes first and then the truck leaves before I can get rid of my old boxes.

Yeah, too fast for that :/
One of those huge Street Trash Cans behind the restaurant would do the trick. Everything you drop there goes Puff! and it would be amazing.

YES, that would be nice... I always have a huge pile of boxes out in the back... and when I burn food I just throw it outside.

i've noticed people do that in their servers, I just throw it on the ground because the rats get it and then I don't have to see it anymore.

Well, in the future that will probably be bad... I mean, rats in a restaurant is not pretty good :b
But for now everything counts. As Kritz said, you can even choose the hamburger to give to the clients ^^ but then you miss the point of the funin the game :b

I throw it outside so the rats don't come inside. I throw it out back and next thing I know it's not there anymore haha.

At first, I tried to throw him money '-'
I didn't know how to bring the supplies so I just thought he was waiting for some xD
But if you notice, when you have food on the ground, the rats come from that corner... Something's fishy here...

Maybe a dumpster outside the store, and every 60 secs, a garbage truck will come and take everything in the bin.

i just want a compactor. once it's full, you'd have to have someone hold down the lever while it crushes everything into a tiny box. once that happens, you take the box to a little bin, and boop. its no longer a problem. it'd also make you work to get rid of all of your clutter. also, how about push brooms and shovels, so you don't spend 10 min picking up all of your rubbish..... also... i want paper soda cups. once they are empty, your slobby customers will just leave them there like a-holes, so you'd have to pick em up. you also have to fill them up for the customer, although that's off-topic.

Uhmm, about the compactor I don't think that should be pretty helpful/usefull towards us (players) but definetly the broom/shovel idea. Easier way to clean everything from the ground. About the drinks, yes. If and when the Soda Machine gets added, that should work like that. You get to clean the bur plates and get rid of the cups when they finish (instantly) ;)

I'm really looking forward to the trash bin. Too many of my games have lagged up because of this issue.
Maybe it could just be a green square like the cash register, until a proper model is made for it.

The model is not a problem, there's more work having the actual dumpster to "delete" the objects :)

How do you think the objects in trucks are deleted? How do you think the burgers are consumed? How do you think the rats steal the stuff? How do you think money goes into the cash register?
